We offer two independent choices on our sales page: the Meta advertising pixel and Microsoft Clarity navigation analytics. New visitors have both switched off until they choose. You can browse, buy and download without either browser tool. Our existing server-to-server purchase reporting to Meta is separate and is not disabled by the browser choices. Stripe processes payments; we receive transaction information needed for delivery, refunds and support.
There is no customer account, newsletter form or upload of your clients’ books on this website. Cloudflare hosts the site and processes technical request data, including IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect it. See the Cloudflare privacy policy. Fonts are provided by Google Fonts, which receives the technical requests needed to serve them.
Use Privacy choices on the sales page to enable either tool, decline both or withdraw a previous choice. An earlier permission for the Meta pixel does not enable Clarity. We save each preference separately in your browser’s local storage. If we cannot read or save a permission, we do not start the corresponding optional tool. A separate refusal flag in browser session storage prevents an old permission from restarting tracking in that tab after a failed save.
Withdrawing a choice stops our browser measurement for that tool, removes its accessible first-party cookies and reloads the page to end its running code. It does not erase events already sent, remove cookies on other domains, or stop the server-to-server purchase reporting described below. Blocking a tracker can reduce measurement; we do not promise that a browser’s “Do Not Track” setting is honored by every service.
With your separate analytics permission, Clarity receives navigation and technical data from this sales page, including clicks, scrolling, page layout, timing, browser/device information and network information processed by Microsoft. We use click maps, scroll maps and session replay to understand where visitors stop or have difficulty. Clarity may use cookies such as _clck and _clsk to connect interactions into sessions. We send an analytics-storage permission and deny advertising-storage permission to Clarity.
We mask page text through Clarity’s masking setting in our markup and do not send names, email addresses, form contents or purchase identifiers as custom events or tags. Our own tags are fixed labels for the page version and recognized campaign source. Recognized campaign parameters are removed from the page address before Clarity loads; unknown parameters prevent loading. These controls limit data sent; they do not make all navigation data anonymous.
Clarity runs only on the public sales page at capacikit.com or www.capacikit.com. It is not installed on checkout, the thank-you page, downloads, privacy/terms pages or our local and preview environments. If you decline, we do not load Clarity at all, including its cookie-free mode. Microsoft processes information under its Privacy Statement; see also Clarity’s data documentation.
With advertising permission, the Meta pixel records a page view, a click toward checkout, and a browser purchase event on the thank-you page. Checkout and purchase events include product, price and currency; the purchase event uses the checkout session identifier to avoid counting the same purchase twice. The pixel can set cookies, including _fbp and _fbc, and Meta receives technical browser/network information. We do not attach your name or email address to our browser pixel events.
Meta may connect advertising interactions with information it already holds about you. See the Meta privacy policy and Meta ad preferences. Declining the browser pixel does not affect the kit’s price, purchase, download or refund.
After the thank-you page supplies a checkout session identifier, our server checks with Stripe that the purchase was paid and matches this product. It then reports the purchase to Meta’s Conversions API. This existing reporting operates independently of your browser pixel and Clarity preferences.
The report includes IP address when available and browser user-agent without hashing; normalized email address and country encoded with SHA-256; the checkout session identifier as an event identifier; event time; the thank-you page origin; product and price identifiers; amount and currency. Hashing supports matching and does not make these data anonymous. Meta uses the shared event identifier to deduplicate browser and server reports. Browser consent withdrawal does not delete these reports; contact us about data requests.
Stripe operates checkout as merchant of record for this sale. Your card statement shows “Sold through Link”. Stripe processes your email, payment details and billing address under the Stripe privacy policy. We receive transaction information, including email and country, to provide delivery, refunds and support. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
The thank-you page address contains a checkout session identifier. Our server uses it to verify payment before delivering the files, and purchase reporting uses it as described above. Treat that address as private: it grants access to your downloads. Do not post it publicly.
Mail sent to [email protected] is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a mailbox we control. We keep those messages as long as needed to handle the request and any refund window, then delete them.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Brazil or a US state with a privacy statute, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data connected to your purchase. Most of that data sits with Stripe as merchant of record; write to [email protected] and we will act on our copy and point you to Stripe for theirs. We answer within 30 days.
This is a professional product for accountants. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will not apply retroactively to a purchase already made.
